Methodology

How TrendSignaler works

We turn search-interest signals into cautious explanations, with review, risk filtering, and uncertainty kept visible.

Collect signals

Current V1 data comes from Google Trends RSS / metadata for the United States.

Review before publication

Trend candidates are filtered for category, risk, source context, and human approval before any public page is published.

Explain carefully

Published pages use source-title based context and uncertainty labels, not article scraping or invented facts.

Publication safeguards

TrendSignaler uses risk filtering, manual review, and source context before publishing trend explanations. High-risk topics are not automatically published.

We do not scrape news article bodies, use unauthorized news images, or treat search interest as proof that an event happened in a specific way.

Finance, health, legal, political, crime, disaster, and other sensitive topics require extra caution and may be held back even if search volume is high.
